Develop a solid technical understanding of the projects, with special focus on the client and server interfaces/features to be able to support the product requirements, development and test activities
Work collaboratively and coordinate between various functional groups to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on a daily basis. Be the GoTo person for the QA team(s) on technical issues.
Review product requirement, user experience specification, technical design specification for testability
Act as test architect for the team with special focus on interfaces/features between client and server part of the solution. Involved in creating test strategies, test plans and test cases
Conduct test plan/cases review with cross-functional teams to ensure the right test coverage
Enhance test automation framework for support of new features and improve test efficiency
Develop automation test tools in C++ and Python.
Be the expert in analyzing test results and test result failure analysis, utilizing logs, architectural knowledge of the system, data driven metrics
Ensure measurable improvement of product quality by identifying, developing and implementing innovative QA capabilities, strategies, approaches and services
Implement templates for test results reports; this includes implementing an automated test report, and having a project dashboard to monitor test status
Handle escalations from customers and drive appropriate handling to address concerns
