You will assist speech scientists in a small team that is developing Norwegian speech recognition resources. Major tasks will be checking of the orthography and phonetic transcriptions of Norwegian words, consultation in creation of spoken- and written-language transformation rules and creation of test sets (review, correction, dictation and recording of texts).
• Checking the orthography and phonetic transcriptions of words (from both general and medical areas)
• Consultation in creation of spoken- and written-language transformation rules
• Creation of test sets (review, correction, dictation and recording of texts)
• Excellent orthography and phonetic knowledge in Norwegian (linguistic background)
• Exact way of working, reliable, good team spirit
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows)
• English or German for communication within the team
