    Job Summary

    As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for speech enhancement applications in international customer projects. Furthermore, you will support our Sales teams during project acquisition and provide First-Level support to our customers over project life-time.



    • Conduct effective project planning activities for speech enhancement applications and related work-packages to clarify and document project requirements (scope, objectives, task list,
    • milestone dates, completion deadline, resources, etc.).
    • Project coordination between customers and Nuance’s R&D and Professional Services
    • Establish progress monitoring procedures, including frequency of status update meetings.
    • Consulting and support of customers regarding audio architecture and implementation of speech enhancement solutions
    • Technical First-Level-Support for audio and speech enhancement related topics
    • Technical Support of Sales and Sales Engineering during project acquisition
    • Support in preparation of requirement specifications, cost estimates and statements of work
    • Coordination of POCs and customer evaluations
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives


    • Ideally 4-5 years of work experience
    • Academic background in digital signal processing, speech and audio processing
    • Good communicator who can represent Nuance professional services with customers
    • Good / excellent language skills in English and German
    • Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a team

    Preferred skills:

    • Experience in project management
    • Professional experience in the automotive industry
    • Experience with embedded systems and real time operating systems (e.g. QNX, Embedded Linux)
    • Experience in integration and tuning of speech signal enhancement algorithms on embedded platforms
    • Knowledge of common standards and tests methods for hands-free communication in vehicles (e.g. ITU-T P.1100, ITU-T P.1110)

    Education: Diploma or master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications technology or a related field
